Jan Joubert van Blerk 
Jan Joubert was born on October 16th, 1903. Jan Joubert's father was Petrus Gerhardus Louw van Blerk and his mother was Sara Magretha Joubert (van Blerk). His paternal grandparents were Simon Petrus van Blerk and Jacomina Hendrina Louw (van Blerk); his maternal grandparents were Daniel Hendrik Joubert and Anna Elizabeth Louw (Joubert). He had five brothers and four sisters, named Sam, Petrus Johannes, Stephanus Gerhardus, Jacobus, Paul Johannes, Sarah Margaretha, Jacomina Hendrina, Maria Wilhelmina and Rachel Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 83 on September 3rd, 1987.General Notes
