Hester Petronella George van Blerk (Jacobs) 
Hester Petronella George was born on March 10th, 1809. Hester Petronella George's father was Rogier Bernhadus van Blerk and her mother was Martha Basina Dorothea van de Kaap. Her paternal grandparents were Rogier Bernhadus van Blerk and Hilletjie Giebelaar (van Blerk). She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Johannes Everhadus, Hendrik Everhadus, Fredrik Andries Georg, Marthinus Samuel, Bastiaan Pieter Everhadus, Alida Johanna, Louisa Carolina, Carolina Hester, Orgina Johanna, Johanna Scheubelina, Keetjie Wilhelmina and Rosina Johanna Hendrina. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 21 in 1830.General Notes
