Dorothea Charlotta was born on October 14th, 1914. Dorothea Charlotta's father was Fredrick Sebastian van Blerk and her mother was Johanna Jacoba Elizabeth Engelbrecht (van Blerk). Her paternal grandparents were Marthinus Samuel Andries van Blerk and Dorothea Rynhoud (van Blerk); her maternal grandparents were Pieter Gideon Engelbrecht and Anna Elizabeth de Waal (Engelbrecht). She had a brother named Pieter Gideon. She was the older of the two children. She had a half-sister named Chaterine Margerit. She died at the age of 76 on July 14th, 1991. She was buried in Klawer, Main cemetery.General Notes
