Andries Marthinus van Blerk (Andrew Mathews van Blerk) 
Andries Marthinus was born on January 11th, 1891. Andries Marthinus' father was Albertus Daniel Johannes van Blerk and his mother was Johanna Barendina Richards (van Blerk). His paternal grandparents were Albertus Daniel Johannes van Blerk and Margaretha Magdalena Nieuwoudt (van Blerk). He had three brothers named Albert Daniel John, Johannes Petrus Isak and Thomas Bernardus. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 75 on September 19th, 1966. He was buried in Paarl, Parys main cemetery.-
