Harold Cecil van Blerck 
Harold Cecil was born on September 10th, 1919 in Woodstock. Harold Cecil's father was William Crawford van Blerck and his mother was May le Roux (van Blerck). His paternal grandparents were William James x van Blerck and Harriet Harcombe (van Blerck); his maternal grandparents were Gabriel Jacobus le Roux and Helena Sophia Wright (le Roux). He had four brothers and a sister, named Laurence William, Victor George, Stanley Vos, Roy Crawford and Louise Hilda. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 60 on April 25th, 1980 in Woodstock. He was buried at the Maitland Cemetery, Cape.General Notes
