Paul Pretorius 
Paul's father was Nicolaas Francois Pretorius and his mother was Frederika Johanna van Blerk. His paternal grandparents were Nicolaas Francois Pretorius and Martha Susanna van der Merwe (Pretorius); his maternal grandparents were Andries Christoffel van Blerk and Maria Elisabeth Magdalena Soekoe. He had five brothers and a sister, named Andries Christoffel, Nicolaas Francois, Frederick Andries, Johan George, David Schalk and Fredrika. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Paul, Johan George and Fredricka.-
