František was born in 1720 in Kolín.  František's father was František Mojžíš and his mother was Rozalie. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Josef, František, Antonín, Kateřina, Lidmila, Rozalie and Rozalie.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 52 in 1772 in Kutná Hora.
