Doña Isabel de Silva (de la Espinosa)

Isabel was born in 1597 in Seville. Isabel's father is Diego Rodríguez da Silva and her mother was Juana Rodríguez de los Angeles. She had three sisters named Clara, Geronyma and Blanca. She died at the age of 52 in 1649 in Mexico City.

- Died in prison without abjuration. Parents: Diego Rodriguez de Silva of Murcia or Cordoba and Juana Rodriguez (de los Angeles), born in Lisbon. Her father died in Angola and her mother was relaxed in 1649 Siblings: Dona Blanca Enriquez, Dona Clara de Silva, and Dona Geronyma Esperanza, relaxed same year. Husband reconciled in 1646. Of the Simon Vaez Sevilla faction. Her mother taught them to invoke the Prophet Elias, rather than Mary, mother of Jesus, they would say the "Virgen of Carmen." Full of superstitions, see, p. 169. Her house served as a waystation for incoming conversos. She died rather suddenly in prison
