Juana was born in 1626 in Mexico City.  Juana's father was Diego Tinoco and her mother was Doña Catalina de Silva (alias Enriquez).  Her maternal grandparents were Antonio Rodríguez Arias and Doña Blanca Enríquez. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Pedro, Antonio, Miguel and Isabel.  She died at the age of 20 in 1646 in Mexico City.
