Melchor Rodírguez de Huerta alias Orta

- p.227-8. died in Havana, "to which he ad made a trip with some merchandise." p.228. Wife reconciled here. Converted to Judaism a few days after wedding. "Once he heard his wife praying when she came across some Christian lore…he upbraided her most rudely….HE made her recite Judiac prayers which he taught her in order that she may erase the Catholic ones from her memory." p.228. Many weddings were celebrated in his home in Seville, including that of Blanca Enriquez and Antonio Rodriguez Arias.
