Tomás López Monforte

Tomás was born in 1611 in Monforte. Tomás' father is <Unknown> and his mother is <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had a brother named Pedro. He died at the age of 35 in 1646 in Mexico City.

General Notes
- Story about how he returned to Spain and stayed with a rich Jew and had secret meetings like synagogue. mother and father--father was a merchant--both dead in Seville. Father was a merchant. Came from Spain in 1637. When he arrived, "se hospedó en esta ciudad [Mexico City] en casa de cierto judío rico, adonde venían a para todos los judíos que pasaban de España y Portugal y adonde se hacían las juntas de ellos como en sinagoga." p.174.
