Maria Gomez

Maria was born in 1616 in Mexico City. Maria's father was Pedro López (Simón Fernández) and her mother was Leonor Núñez. Her maternal grandfather is Gaspar Fernández and her maternal grandmother was Maria Núñez (Rodriguez). She had a brother named Francisco. She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-sisters named Isabel and Ana. She died at the age of 33 in 1649 in Mexico City.

- p.134-136. Daughter of Leonor Nunez and her second husband Pedro Lopez, alias Simon Fernandez. Children: Raphael de Sobremonte and Leonor Martinez, reconciled in 1648. She was originally reconciled in 1635. She taught her children only Jewish prayers, as the author makes a point of highlighting. They also never went to mass. She and her mother heard their sentences proclaimed from the cupola. She had been reconciled in 1635, and was considered a relapso in 1649

Maria and Tomás were married. They had four sons and two daughters, named Rafael, Antonio, Gabriel, Salvador, Leonor and Micaela.
