Duarte Castaño

Duarte was born in 1609 in Abrego. He died at the age of 40 in 1649 in Caracas.

General Notes
- p. 96. circumcized. From Abrantes, Portugal. Lived in both Lisbon and Caracas, and "travels from there [Caracas] to Veracruz in order to trade cocoa." p. 96. His father was a physician. HE had gone to the Indies, because his property had been confiscated in Seville for judaizing, where his wife remained.
