John Tozer

John was born about 1672 in Salmon Falls, York County, Maine.¹ John's father was Richard Tozier and his mother was Judith Smith. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Smith and Margaret Clark. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Richard, Ann, John, Simon, Thomas, Elizabeth, Martha, Judith, Ann, Elizabeth and Judith. He was the eleventh oldest of the twelve children.
