Jabez Towle

Jabez was born on December 5th, 1724. Jabez's father was Philip Towle and his mother was Lydia Dow. His paternal grandparents are Caleb Towle and Zipporah Brackett; his maternal grandparents were Jabez Dow and Esther Shaw. He had six brothers and a sister, named Philip, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Benjamin, Philip, Patience and Esther. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died as a war casualty, During the Siege of Louisburg, at the age of 21 on January 5th, 1746 in Fortress of Louisburg, Louisburg, Cape Breton County, Nova Scotia.
