Tobias G. Spinney

Tobias was born on June 18th, 1854.¹ Tobias' father was James S. Spinney and his mother was Martha (Anne) Lowe. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Spinney and Mary Catherine Troke. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph, George, James, Horatio, Katherine, Mary, Martha, Emily, Mary, Sarah and Alice. He was the eleventh oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 72 on November 25th, 1926 in L'Etang, New Brunswick.¹

- Tobias was married but had no children. Sources indicate that Tobias played the fiddle and would play for his community often.
