Samuel Houston Spinney

Samuel was born in March 1847 in Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Samuel's father was John Rogers Spinney and his mother was Sophia Savery. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Spinney and Mary Huntress; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Savery and Joanna Burbank. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, William, Daniel, Sophia and Lonette. He was the youngest of the seven children.
