Mercy Spinney

Mercy was born in 1738 in Kittery, York County, Maine. Mercy's father was Thomas Spinney and her mother was Tamsen Ham. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Spinney and Christiana; her maternal grandparents are Joseph Ham and Tamsen Meserve. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, Christian, Thomas, Eleanor and Dorothy. She was the third oldest of the seven children.
