Mary Spinney

Mary was born on May 29th, 1744 in Kittery, York County, Maine. Mary's father was Nicholas Spinney and her mother was Alice Godsoe. Her paternal grandparents were James Spinney and Mary Couch; her maternal grandparents are William Godsoe and Elizabeth Roberts. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Nicholas, Josiah, Caleb, John, Eunice and Alice. She was the oldest of the seven children.
