James Spinney

James was born on February 11th, 1694 in Kittery, York County, Maine. James' father was Samuel Spinney and his mother was Elizabeth Knight. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Spinney and Margery Randall; his maternal grandparents are Samuel Knight and Amy Carle. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Samuel, James, John, Thomas, Nathan, Jeremiah, David, Jonathan and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Samuel, Lydia, Patience, Margaret, Sarah and Elizabeth.
