Charles Spinney

Charles was born in November 1831 in Argyle, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. Charles' father was Reuben Spinney and his mother was Martha Nickerson. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Spinney and Eunice Frost. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Ezekiel, Reuben, James, Martha, Adaline, Azuba and Dorcas. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
