Hersey Southworth Smith

Hersey was born on October 27th, 1895 in Smithville, Nova Scotia. Hersey's father was James Albert Smith and his mother was Jennie Shand. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Doane Smith and Margaret Crowell. He had seven brothers named Guilford, Claude, Fred, James, Maurice, Frank and George. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 20 on June 23rd, 1916 in France.
