Mary Prince

Mary was born in 1630 and her christening took place on October 6th, 1630 in East Shefford, Berkshire, England.¹ Mary's father was Rev John Prince and her mother was Elizabeth Tolderbury. Her maternal grandparents were Rev Dr Tolderbury and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Francis, Edward, George, Johanna, Dorothy, Ursula and Katherine. She was the youngest of the nine children.
