Edna was born on September 5th, 1910.  Edna's father was Henry Francis McWhirk and her mother was Ethal M. McNutt.  Her paternal grandparents are McWhirt and Ann Howard; her maternal grandparents were John Barnhill McNutt and Emma Augusta Spinney. She had a brother and eight sisters, named Buddy, Margaret, Dorothy, Ruth, Ethel, Elenor, Carol, Evelyn and Olive.  She died at the age of 76 on April 29th, 1987 in Massachusetts.
