Jeremiah Dow Lamprey

Jeremiah was born in 1804. Jeremiah's father was Daniel Lamprey and his mother was Anna Dow. His paternal grandparents are Lt Daniel Lamprey and Sarah Lane; his maternal grandfather was Jeremiah Dow and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Stanyan. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Eli, Samuel, Ruth, Anna, Elizabeth and Sally. He died in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island.

General Notes
- Jeremiah enlisted in the navy and was on of the few able to swim ashore when the Cumberland was sunk by the Merrimack. He later died in the service of the navy.
