Charles Melville Holt

Charles was born on January 27th, 1844 in Calais, Maine.¹ Charles' father was Zebediah Shattuck Holt and his mother was Sarah E. Spinney. His paternal grandparents are Barachias Holt and Elizabeth Shattuck; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan Spinney and Mary Catherine Troke. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Zebediah, Frank, George, Emily and Adaline. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 31 on April 13th, 1875.¹
