Lura Amanda Dow

Lura was born on September 9th, 1868 in Sanbornton Bridge, Belknap County, New Hampshire. Lura's father was Sumner Adams Dow and her mother was Ann Maria Gordon. Her paternal grandparents were Levi Dow and Hannah Goss Drake; her maternal grandparents are Daniel S. Gordon and Belinda Cass. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Guy, Levi, Electa and Lellen. She was the fourth oldest of the six children.
