Lucy Ellen Dow

Lucy was born on October 16th, 1840. Lucy's father was Joseph Dow and her mother was Abigail French. Her paternal grandparents were Josiah Dow and Hannah Moulton; her maternal grandparents are Rev Jonathan D. D. French and <Unknown>. She had a brother and five sisters, named Joseph, Hannah, Abby, Eunice, Elizabeth and Lemira. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 55 in January 1896 in Cleveland, Ohio.

- Lucy never married. Her father's companion and amanuensis, the history was always almost as familiar to her as to him.
