Joseph Warren Dow

Joseph was born on December 15th, 1830. Joseph's father was Col Josiah Dow and his mother was Almira Nudd. His paternal grandparents were Josiah Dow and Hannah Moulton. He had two brothers named John and Jonathan. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Charles. He died at the age of 81 on May 1st, 1912 in Hampton, New Hampshire.

General Notes
- Joseph moved to Boston in 1883. He was 1st sargeant of the Winnacunnett Guards and was disabled after a year of service. He was thereafter a recruiting officer for New Hampshire and postmaster about 1860. His house and barn burned in 1867, was rebuilt, only to burn again in 1874. He was selectman in 1872.
