John C. Dow

John was born in 1855 in Barnstead, Belknap County, New Hampshire. John's father was John Dow and his mother was Mary Jane Lang. His paternal grandfather was Timothy Dow and his paternal grandmother is Mary P. Hodgdon. He had three brothers named Charles, George and Frederick. He was the third oldest of the four children. He died after 1923.

- John never replied to any of the genealogical letters sent by Robert P. Dow. He was a resident of Berlin, Massachusetts.
