John Dow

John was born in 1835 in New Hampton, Belknap County, New Hampshire. John's father was Peter Dow and his mother was Mary Ann Prescott. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Dow and Sally Hanniford. He had two brothers and a sister, named Perrin, Frank and Sarah. He was the youngest of the four children.
