Charles Boynton Dow (Charles Dow Stone)

Charles was born on January 3rd, 1843 in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Charles' father was George Washington Dow and his mother was Adeline Center Gurdy. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Godfrey Dow and Polly Boynton; his maternal grandparents are Elisha Gurdy and <Unknown>. He had a brother named John. He was the older of the two children.

General Notes
- Charles was fairly prominent in Bristol, New Hampshire. For some unstated reason he changed his name rather late in life to Charles Dow Stone and went to California. All of his children remained in New Hampshire.
