Amherst W. Dow (Albert)

Amherst was born in 1822 in Vermont. Amherst's father was Benjamin Dow and his mother was Deborah Gilman. His paternal grandparents are Benjamin Dow and Dorothy Connor. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Dennis, Susan, Julette, Rossanah, Charlotte and Abbie. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died after 1850.
