John Blair

John was born in 1758 in Worcester, Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹ John's father was William Blair and his mother was Jane Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Robert Blair and Isabel Rankin; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Barnes and Martha. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William, James, Susan, Sarah, Hannah, Dorothy, Rebecca and Elizabeth. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 89 on October 17th, 1847 in Onslow, Colchester County, Nova Scotia.¹
