Martha Fletcher Ames

Martha was born on January 7th, 1852 in Brockton, Massachusetts. Martha's father was Luther Ames and her mother was Mary Ann Spinney. Her paternal grandparents are Joel Ames and Relience Edson; her maternal grandparents were Ebenezer Spinney and Mary Ann Fletcher. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Albert, Frank, Arthur, Reliance, Betsey, Frances and Edith. She was the second oldest of the eight children.
