Józef was born on March 13th, 1824 in Leżajsk delivered by Agnieszka Darska and his christening took place on March 14th, 1824 in Fara-Leżajsk conducted by priest Marcin Pikula.1   His godfather was Walenty Karasiński and his godmother was Katarzyna Raźnikiewicz.  Józef's father was Mateusz Marcin Kwieciński and his mother was Franciszka Piziak.  His paternal grandparents were Stanisław Kwieciński and Katarzyna Gdula; his maternal grandparents were Mateusz Pisiak and Wiktoria Romańska.  He was an only child.  He died  due to pneumonia at the age of 67 on December 21st, 1891.
