Lodewijk Ariesz was born on December 23rd, 1764 in Hardingveld Nederland and his christening took place on December 23rd, 1764.1  Lodewijk Ariesz's father was Arie  Eliaszn Blokland and his mother was Neeltje  Lodewijksd Vesluijs.  His paternal grandparents were Elias  Arijsz Blokland and  Maijke Marrigje  Herberts Versloot; his maternal grandparents were Lodewijk  Corss Vesluis and Ariaentje  Willemsd Bowman. He had four brothers and a sister, named Jan , Elias Ariesz, Willem , Cornelis and Ariaantje .  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 69 on April 23rd, 1834 in Hardingveld Nederland.
