Josefa was born on March 20th, 1903 in Lajas, Puerto Rico.  She died from a heart attack at the age of 77 on October 12th, 1980 in Guánica, Puerto Rico.  The funeral took place in Guánica, Puerto Rico and was arranged by Funeraria Charles.  Her burial was in Municipal Cemetery, Guánica, Puerto Rico.
