Robert was born in 1710 in South Brent, Somerset, England. Robert's father was Robert CHAMPION and his mother was Ann LYDE.  His paternal grandfather was Robert  CHAMPION and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; his maternal grandfather was Thomas LYDE and his maternal grandmother is Alice.  He had a brother named Richard .  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 50 on December 11th, 1760 in Battleboro Farm, Brean, Somerset, England..  His burial was on December 11th, 1760 in Brean, Somerset, England..
