Ann was born on March 22nd, 1738 in Lympsham, Somerset, England.

Ann's father was Robert CHAMPION and her mother was Ann CHAMPION. Her paternal grandparents were Robert CHAMPION and Ann LYDE. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Robert, John, Elizabeth, Ann, Grace and Sarah. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at 9 months old in December 1738.
