Geoffrey De was born about 1064 in Of Hedingham, Essex, England.  Geoffrey De's father was Alberic De VERE and his mother is Beatrice (Beatrix) GAND (GHENT).  His paternal grandparents are Alphonso, Count Of GHESNES and Mrs-Alphonso, Countess Of GHESNES; his maternal grandparents are Henry Castellan De GAND and Sibilla MANASSES. He had five brothers and a sister, named Alberic, Roger De, Robert De, William De, Aubrey II De and Roheise (Roesia) De.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died in 1166 in Probably, England.
