Phillip was born about 1056 in Of Montgomery, Montgomery, Wales.  Phillip's father was Roger De MONTGOMERY and his mother was Mabel TALVAS.  His paternal grandparents are Roger De MONTGOMERY and Josceline De PONTEAUDEMER; his maternal grandfather is William TALVAS. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert II De, Hugues De, Roger "The Poitevin", Robert, Arnulph De, Maude De, Emma, Mabel and Sibyl De.  He died in 1099 in Siege Of Antioch.
