Hugh De was born about 1010 in Of, St Germain Mntgm, Normandy, France.  Hugh De's father is Roger De MONTGOMERY and his mother is Josceline De PONTEAUDEMER.  His maternal grandmother is Senfrie (Sainfrie) De CREPON. He had four brothers named Robert De, William De, Gilbert De and Roger De.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died before 1047.
