Walter De was born about 1106 in Of, Greystoke, Cumberland, England.  Walter De's father was Ives (Ivo) De GREYSTOKE and his mother is Agnes FITZWALTER.  His paternal grandfather was Forne De GREYSTOKE and his paternal grandmother is Mrs. Forne De GREYSTOKE; his maternal grandfather is Walter. He had four brothers and a sister, named William De, Robert De, Adam De, Henry De and Alice De.  He died in 1162 in Of, Grimesthorpe, Lincolnshire, England.
