Maud (Matilda) (Mary) was born about 1282 in Of, Carrick, Argyllshire, Scotland.  Maud (Matilda) (Mary)'s father was Robert De BRUS and her mother was Margaret Countess Of CARRICK.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert "the Competitor" De BRUS and Isabel De CLARE; her maternal grandfather was Neil Earl Of CARRICK and her maternal grandmother is Margaret STEWART. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Robert I "The Bruce" King Of, Edward, Nigel (Neil), Thomas, Alexander, Isabella Bruce Queen Of, Christina, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth and Margery.  She died after September 1323.  Her burial was in Abbey, Fearn, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland.
