William was born in 1554 in Holme On, Spalding Moor, Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place about 1553 in Holme-On, Spalding-Moor, York, England.  William's father was Thomas BRIGHAM and his mother was Jennet Millington OR TOMLINSON.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas BRIGHAM and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were William (Or Tomlinson) MILLINGTON (TOMLINSON) and Barbara Or Tomlinson MILLINGTON. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Thomas, Peter, Richard, Francis, Richard, Jessett, Jennette, Francis, Jennette and Francis.  He died at the age of 36 on February 1st, 1590 in Holme-On, Spalding-Moor, Yorkshire, England.  His burial was on February 1st, 1591 in Holme On, Spalding Moor, Yorkshire, England.
