Richard was born in 1557 in Holme On, Spalding Moor, Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place about 1557 in Holme-On, Spalding-Moor, York, England.  Richard's father was Thomas BRIGHAM and his mother was Jennet Millington OR TOMLINSON.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas BRIGHAM and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were William (Or Tomlinson) MILLINGTON (TOMLINSON) and Barbara Or Tomlinson MILLINGTON. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Thomas, Peter, William, Francis, Richard, Jessett, Jennette, Francis, Jennette and Francis.  He died at the age of 29 in 1586 in Holme, Spaulding Moor, York, England.  His burial was in 1586 in Holme, Yorkshire, England.
