    Lil loved going to the movies. She was an active member of the Country Womens Association and would make embroidered rugs and knitted toys for her grandchildren.
    Loved going crabbing with Stanley and cooking the blue spanner crabs in a big copper pot.
    
    
    Emily married Stanley George Brakenridge, son of Andrew Brakenridge and Cathren McEwen, in 1919 in Port Pirie, South Australia. (Stanley George Brakenridge was born on 12 May 1890 in Silverton New South Wales, died on 26 Nov 1976 in Adelaide, South Australia and was buried in Centennial Park.)
