Anu was born in 1800.  Anu's father was Mats Lõõndre and her mother was Liis Lõõndre. She had five brothers and a sister, named Toomas, Jaan, Hans, Rein, Juhan and Epp.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 56 in December 1856.
