Niklus' father was Mikk and his mother was Ann. His paternal grandparents were Toomas and Epp; his maternal grandparents are Peeter and Pabbo. He has a sister named Mai. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jüri, Evert, Hindrik, Leenu and Madli.
